Live TV

I may have a new career opportunity. Two weeks ago, I made my TV debut. I was interviewed live on the Not So Perfect Parent segment of Good Morning Texas, which is broadcast on the ABC affiliate to the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex.

The interview is the second of the 2 links. The segment began with a video that wove together our adoption story of Phillip, our oldest, with his work for Gladney in Ethiopia.

I've been debating whether or not to post this to my blog, but since I did not have any "deer in the headlights" moments, I decided to go ahead.

However, I have not received any calls from agents looking to manage my TV career, so I guess I'll continue in my present role at Gladney.

Well, there's a first time for everything -- my first blog and Frank's first tv appearance!

Wow! I'm so glad you posted those two clips. The first was tender (yes, I thought about tearing up)and so dear to see how your family was started. Frank, you were very professional and well spoken in the second segment -- like a true president(and you didn't look a bit nervous). Both put together gave a beautiful picture of Gladney and your involvment. Hats off to you, Rebecca, and Phillip. I was only hoping to see more of your home!

Love,

Amy

The TV interviews were great -- everyone was very poised and obviously passionate about the subject. What great publicity for Gladney.

I also liked your posting about the roots of our current economic "situation". Your comments were dead-on.

I loved that! Watching that video was amazing. I had never seen it before, and I am so jealous of Phillip's experience. I would love to do that! It is so cool the work you are doing Frank!
